Finally got this to tame a bright sky without blowing out the foreground—the nano coating really cuts down on flare even shooting straight into the sun. Used it on a coastal landscape shot and the exposure difference was spot-on.

The 4-stop transition is incredibly smooth—no visible line even when I’m shooting directly into a bright sunset over the lake. It’s become a permanent fixture in my bag for any high-contrast scene, and the glass stays crystal clear with zero color cast.

I’ve been using this GND16 for seascapes and the 4-stop reduction makes exposing foreground and sky effortless—no more blown highlights. The nano coating really helps repel water droplets, which saved me time wiping the glass between shots.
