NiSi 52mm Circular White Mist 1/4

For indoor portrait shoots, this filter softens highlights beautifully without washing out shadow details. The 1/4 strength feels just right for adding that cinematic atmosphere without losing too much sharpness.

I was a bit worried it would make my sharp lens too soft, but the 1/4 strength is perfect for portraits—just a nice glow on the highlights without losing detail. My skin tones look so much smoother now, and it cuts harsh digital edges beautifully.

The diffusion is just subtle enough that skin tones stay natural while highlights get that dreamy bloom, and it screws on smooth without any vignetting on my 52mm primes. I've left it on for almost every shoot this week, it's become my go-to for portraits and street shots at night.
