NiSi 100x100mm Black Mist 1/4

Finally got that soft, film-like glow for my night street photos without washing out the contrast. The 1/4 strength gives just enough diffusion on highlights to feel cinematic, not hazy.

Shot a whole evening portrait session with it and the skin tones stayed smooth without looking overly hazy—just enough diffusion to take the edge off harsh highlights. It sits nicely in my filter holder too, no light leaks to worry about. Exactly the look I was after for atmospheric shots.

The highlight roll-off is exactly the subtle, filmic look I was chasing—highlights soften without that fake glow stick effect. It’s already living in my bag for every portrait and street shoot.
