Rode SM6 Mount

The suspension arms grip my condenser mic firmly without any wobble, and the threaded adapter made setup a two-minute job. Footsteps on the floor above no longer show up in my recordings, which is exactly what I needed.

My old mount picked up every footstep, but this suspension system completely eliminated the low-end rumble from my floor vibrations. The elastic suspension cradles the mic securely while keeping it isolated, and the build feels solid enough for daily studio use.

My desk sits right over a heating vent, and since mounting my mic in this shock mount the low rumble in my recordings is basically gone. The suspension holds my large diaphragm condenser snugly without any sag.
