Rode SC6 Breakout Box

The two TRRS inputs let me plug in both my mics at once, and the headphone jack gives me clean monitoring right from my phone. Setup took about ten seconds, and now my podcast recordings sound properly leveled instead of muddy.

Didn't realize how much I needed two separate mic inputs until I started using this for interviews on my phone. The breakout box lets me run one mic on each side and still monitor everything through the headphone jack. Total game changer for mobile recording.

Plugged both my lav mics into the two TRRS inputs and monitored through the headphone jack while recording to my tablet — no hiss at all. The breakout box just works, and having the separate stereo out means I'm not unplugging cables between takes.
