Rode Deadcat GO Windshield

Slapped this on before a shoot near the coast and the wind noise just vanished. The artificial fur does exactly what it's supposed to, and it slides right onto the mic without any fuss.

For the price, this little fur sleeve does exactly what it should—slapped it on before filming in a gusty park and the audio stayed clean with zero rustle in the recording. The synthetic fur feels dense enough that even strong bursts of wind didn't make it past the mic.

Took this out on a breezy beach shoot and my audio came back clean, no rumbly gusts ruining the takes. The artificial fur stays acoustically transparent so voices still sound natural underneath. Fits the mic snugly and hasn't shed at all.
