I’ve been using this monopod for wildlife shoots with my 600mm lens and the self-standing base is a game changer for quick composition changes. The leg mechanism locks firmly but releases easily when I need to reposition. It handles my heavy gear without any wobble, which gives me real confidence in

The twist-locks are buttery smooth to adjust, even with gloves on, and the base gives me the stability I need for long wildlife shoots without crawling on the ground. Set-up takes seconds, and I've used it for hours straight without any fatigue.

The base locks down so firmly that I can let go of the whole setup with my 600mm on it and it doesn’t even twitch. The three sections extend and lock with a satisfying, solid click, and it’s been my go-to for sideline sports all season.
