I was skeptical about carbon fiber, but this kit’s legs lock firmly even on a rocky hillside, and the ball head holds my heavy telephoto without any creep. It folds down compact enough for my backpack but still gives me the height I need for landscape shots.

Finally a tripod that extends tall enough for me to shoot without bending over, yet it packs down surprisingly compact for travel. The twist locks feel precise and secure even on uneven ground.

The ball head holds my heavy lens perfectly steady, even in a light breeze. I love how quickly it deploys from its compact carrying size to full height.
