I was surprised how quickly I could get the legs adjusted and ready to shoot with the twist locks, and the included ball head held my camera steady even in a light breeze. The blue color is a nice touch too—makes it easy to spot in my gear bag.

The twist locks are buttery smooth and lock down rock solid—I had my camera set up in under 20 seconds out of the box. The included ball head holds my DSLR and telephoto lens without any droop, even at awkward angles. Perfect for hiking trips where you need a sturdy but lightweight companion.
