For street photography, the size and weight of this lens are a game changer—I can slip my whole kit into a jacket pocket. The aperture ring clicks with a satisfying tactility that makes manual adjustments feel deliberate. Very pleased with how sharp the images are straight out of camera.

This little 40mm has basically lived on my camera since it arrived, the size makes it so easy to just throw in a bag. The f/2.5 aperture gives a lovely soft background blur for portraits, and the focus ring feels smooth and precise when I'm shooting street scenes.
