Rode VideoMic 麥克風

I was worried a shotgun mic would pick up every room echo, but the super-cardioid pattern on this thing is incredibly tight — my voice comes through clear even when I'm filming near a busy street. The half-inch condenser captures a surprising amount of detail for the price, and it screws right onto

Picked this up for my DSLR and the 1/2" condenser captures clear audio even in slightly noisy rooms, a huge step up from my camera's built-in. It's lightweight too, so it doesn't throw off my rig's balance.

The shotgun pattern on this mic really isolates my subject’s voice from background noise, which has saved me so much time in post. I’ve been using it with my camcorder and the clarity is night and day compared to the built-in mic.
