Rode Deadcat VMPR Windshield

Took this out to a park with gusty winds and it cut out almost all the rumble. The artificial fur does exactly what it claims—my audio stays clean even when the trees are swaying.

Finally got to test this outdoors in strong wind and the audio stays crystal clear where my other foam cover failed completely. It slips onto the VideoMic Pro snugly and doesn't add much bulk.

The fur’s density is the real deal—it killed the gust chatter on a mountain shoot without muffling dialogue. Snaps on tight enough that I forgot it was there. If you do any outdoor recording, this is the one.
