The sharpness wide open is incredible—portraits have that perfect micro-contrast even before stopping down. Autofocus is quick and silent for video work, which was a nice surprise.

That shallow depth of field at f/1.2 is something else—the background just melts away while the subject stays perfectly crisp. It’s heavier than I expected but balances nicely on my camera body for a walk-around prime.

The sharpness at f/1.2 is just incredible—I can finally shoot wide open without worrying about softness. The build feels solid and weather-sealed, which is great for outdoor shoots. Definitely a step up from my older glass.
