Nikon HK-38 Bayonet Lens Hood

Just snapped this onto my 800mm and the bayonet mount locks in place with a reassuring click, no wobble at all. It's nice to have that extra protection for the front element right out of the box.

The bayonet mount clicks into place with satisfying precision. It cuts down glare noticeably on sunny days, which is exactly what I needed for wildlife shooting. The build quality feels solid enough to handle being tossed in my bag between setups.

Finally, a hood that actually locks on tight without any wobble. The bayonet mount clicks into place perfectly on my 800mm, and it cuts glare noticeably better than the generic third-party one I tried before.
