Finally got this adapter for my tripod and it’s a game-changer for low-angle work. The carbon fibre feels sturdy yet surprisingly light, making it easy to hike with. Setup took just a couple of minutes to get the camera level with the ground.

For macro shots, getting the lens right down at dirt level makes all the difference—this adapter lets the XC-M 525 sit almost flat on the ground. The carbon fibre build feels solid and locks in place without any wobble, exactly what I needed for those low-angle plant shots.

Attaching this adapter to my tripod was quick, and it got my camera right down to ground level for a bug's-eye shot. The lower stage extension works exactly as described for macro work.
