The autofocus is so snappy I can track birds in flight without losing a single frame, and the chromatic aberration control keeps those high-contrast branches razor-sharp. It's a beast to carry for a full day, but the image quality is worth every gram.

I’ve been pixel-peeping shots of distant birds all week and the edge-to-edge sharpness from those three fluorite elements is just unreal. Paired with my a7R V, the chromatic aberration is basically a non-issue, even wide open at f/2.8.
