Celestron Powerseeker 50AZ Refractor Telescope

Even with no prior experience, I was able to find Jupiter's moons on my first clear night using the included eyepieces. The 70mm aperture pulls in enough light to see craters on the moon clearly. It's compact enough to store in a small closet, yet sturdy enough to hold steady in a light breeze.

Got it set up in under 20 minutes and was amazed at how clear the moon’s craters looked through the 50mm objective lens. The altazimuth mount is smooth enough for easy tracking, though I wish the tripod was a bit sturdier. Still, for the price, it's a fantastic first scope.

I was worried about setup, but the 102mm aperture gathered enough light to see Jupiter’s bands and its moons clearly on the first clear night.
