Canon EW-53 Lens Hood

Finally getting sharp, flare-free shots with my kit lens — this hood clicks on securely and does exactly what it should. The bayonet mount feels solid, and it's light enough to leave on all the time.

I was tired of losing contrast in bright sunlight, and this hood locks onto the 15-45mm lens with a solid click that blocks stray light exactly where it’s needed.

Was a bit skeptical about needing a hood for such a small lens, but it really does cut down glare when shooting into the sun. Blocks stray light effectively, and the build feels sturdy enough for everyday use. Only wish it came with a pouch for storage.
