This filter threads directly into the S6 adapter ring—replacing the circular polarizer—to deliver a powerful 10-stop reduction in light.
With its 3.0 density, this ND filter allows photographers to dramatically slow shutter speeds or shoot with wider apertures in bright daylight conditions—ideal for achieving smooth water, streaking clouds, and creative motion blur. The ND1000 is best used outside golden hour, where ambient light is at its brightest, but can also allow up to 5-minute exposures during golden hour with the correct settings.
