Achieve perfectly balanced exposures with the NiSi Soft-Edge Graduated Neutral Density (GND) Filter. Designed to selectively darken overexposed areas like bright skies while preserving detail in the rest of your image, this rectangular filter is an essential tool for landscape photographers. Featuring a soft-edged transition from dark to clear, it is ideal for scenes with uneven horizons—such as those with trees, buildings, or mountains—where a gradual blend is key to a natural look.

Made from high-quality optical glass, not resin, this GND filter maintains exceptional image clarity and resolution. It delivers true-to-life color without introducing unwanted tints, thanks to NiSi’s advanced nano coating technology. This coating also offers added durability and resistance to water, oil, and dust. Additionally, the built-in infrared protection layer effectively eliminates red color casts that can occur during long exposures, especially at small apertures—preserving the natural tones and vibrancy of your shot.

Charlotte ★★★★★

I’ve been using this graduated filter to tame harsh midday skies, and the nano coating really minimizes reflections. The 2-stop density let me capture foreground details without blowing out the clouds.

Madison ★★★★★

The soft transition on this ND4 filter is perfect for landscapes—it blends into the sky without that harsh line I've seen with cheaper options. Really helps keep the foreground exposed properly while darkening the bright areas.

Scarlett Y. ★★★★★

The soft-edge transition is what sold me—it blends into the horizon so smoothly that I don’t have to fuss with alignment in the field. The 2-stop strength cut my sky highlights perfectly while keeping the foreground rich, and the nano coating wiped clean after a misty morning shoot.
