It is designed with automatic aperture with electro-magnetic diaphragm mechanism with rounded diaphragm opening consisting of 11 blades. It provides users with an aperture range from f/16 to a large f/1.2. It also offers an angle of view of 28°30′ for FX format and 28°30′ for DX format. Moreover, it allows a 0.85m minimum focusing distance and a 0.11x maximum reproduction ratio. Furthermore, this lens utilises an internal focusing system and multi-focusing system, as well as Stepping Motor for autofocusing.
