This is backed up by the EXPEED 5 Image Processing Engine, giving you ISO reach from 64 -25,600 (expandable to 108,400) resulting in exquisite detail in some of the most compromising lighting conditions.

In addition to superb image quality the D850 has a 153 point auto focus system that will let you freeze all of that detail with absolute precision focus. This AF system is also backed up by 7 frames per second continuous shooting, when you attach the MB-D18 Multi-Power Battery Pack this will expand to another 2 Frames, getting you to a total of 9 frames per second continuous shooting. (When using MB-D18 Multi-Power Battery pack with EN-EL 18b/EN-EL 18a Rechargeable Li-ion Battery.)

Landscape photographers will revel in the 8K Time-Lapse feature, not only is this an impressive feature alone it also backed up with Silent Mode.

Videographers will be happy to see that Full Frame 4K UHD video is on board which will bring about beautiful quality in all lighting conditions when paired with the FX wide angle lenses. In Full HD you can also achieve x4/x5 Slow Motion movies, a great asset to have on board when wanting to insert those dramatic scenes into your hero 4K UHD footage. In addition to all of this there is a Silent Mode 8K UHD Time-Lapse feature which is enhanced by RAW Batch Processing, totally streamlining movie production. Located on the side of the D850 there°۪s two card slots, a UHS-II SD and an XQD to give you optimal performance when it comes to read and write speeds. RAW images come in three configurations. Small (4128x2752; 11.4 MP), Medium (6192x4128; 25.6 MP) and Large (8256x5504; 45.4 MP). This will significantly improve workflow flexibility.

For the first time in a Magnesium Alloy body Nikon have managed to successfully integrate their iconic SnapBridge feature. In the past, the alloy has blocked the wireless transmission of data however this new FX model has erased the past giving you the ability to be agile with data transfer.

Playback of video footage and images have never looked so good, the newly improved 3.2°۝ LCD screen is not only a tilt screen for easy operability however the touch operation is smoother than ever. The fluidity of the screen as you swipe and touch is dramatically improved from previous models.

As you can see the D850 is a DSLR designed for peak performance. It has some of the most impressive features found in Nikon°۪s FX line-up taking a lot of DNA from the D5.
