Nicholas ★★★★★

Despite weighing almost nothing, the carbon fiber legs lock up rock solid even with my heavy Nikon on the 496 ball head. The twist lock is buttery smooth and adjusts height in seconds without any wobble.

William Q. ★★★★★

I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and the carbon fiber legs are noticeably lighter than my old aluminum tripod without sacrificing stability. The twist locks feel smooth and secure, and the center column’s easy flip mechanism saves me time adjusting height on uneven ground.

Thomas ★★★★★

The ball head locks down tighter than I expected for a travel tripod—no sag after I mount my heaviest lens. Breaks down short enough to fit in my carry-on, and the twist locks are buttery smooth in cold weather.
