With Sony NEX 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 PZ Lens

The perfect companion for your APS-C format cameras, this lens from Sony offers an impressive zoom range as well as a variety of excellent features, making it one of the best in its range. The Sony NEX 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 PZ lens is compact and has a retractable design and structure, making it a lot more manageable when not in use. The presence of special elements in the lens design further adds to its performance. The sturdy lens design helps deliver crystal-clear imagery, maintaining consistency throughout the zoom range. The lens offers a maximum aperture range of f/3.5 to 5.6, whereas the minimum aperture range spans from f/22 to f/36. It offers a maximum magnification of 0.21x with a minimum focusing distance of 25cm. With a solid lens construction of nine elements in eight groups, the lens also features one extra-low dispersion glass element. This supports counter aberrations and colour fringing, thus helping to maintain chromatic tonality in images. Further strengthening the lens design are the four aspherical elements, which play a role in reducing astigmatism, field curvature, and other monochromatic aberrations.
