Optimally positioned GMo aspherical lenses deliver reduced distortion & improved balance of image quality & brightness. The f/4 maximum aperture of this lens is fixed throughout the focal-length range, so shutter speeds will not change as the lens is zoomed. 10 blade circular aperture delivers more appealing and rounded bokeh. Image Stabilizer permits the use of shutter speeds up to four stops slower than normal, enabling hand held shooting in challenging lighting conditions.
