Sony 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 G Telezoomlens

The autofocus is snappy and quiet, and the image quality is sharp across the frame even at 300mm. I’ve been using it for wildlife shots and the 0.9-meter minimum focus lets me grab some impressive close-up detail. Really happy with how versatile this lens is.

Was honestly surprised by how close it focuses—0.9 meters means I can grab butterfly shots without spooking them. The zoom ring feels smooth and precise, and every frame stays tack sharp even wide open at 300mm. Definitely my go-to for hiking trips now.

The image sharpness across the whole frame at 300mm really impressed me on my first outing. Being able to focus as close as 0.9 meters makes it easy to grab detailed close-up shots without switching lenses. The built-in stabilization helped me get crisp handheld shots in the late afternoon light.
