Canon ES68 Lens Hood for EF5018STM

I was a bit skeptical about a lens hood making a noticeable difference, but the ES68 actually cleaned up the contrast on my portrait shots noticeably, especially backlit ones. The clip-on mount locks securely without any wobble, and it's compact enough to leave on the lens in my bag.

Snaps onto the 50mm f/1.8 STM with a satisfying click and feels solid for a plastic piece. I've noticed a real difference in contrast on sunny days, with way less flare sneaking into the frame.

I was skeptical a plastic hood could make much difference, but this one really cuts the stray light and makes my 50mm shots look punchier in harsh sun. Snaps on with a firm click and doesn’t wobble, so I just leave it on the lens all the time.
