Nikon Sportstar 10x25 D CF Binoculars

The nitrogen gas filling is a real lifesaver—took these out in light drizzle and they never fogged up once. The turn-and-slide rubber eyecups also let me dial in the perfect eye position without fiddling, and that close focus at 3.5m makes spotting dragonflies a treat.

I've been using these for birdwatching in light rain and the nitrogen-filled waterproofing gave me real peace of mind. The close focusing at 3.5 meters lets me see insects on flowers without backing up.

I was pleasantly surprised how clear the view is through these binoculars, and the close focusing down to 3.5 meters lets me see butterflies up close too. The nitrogen-filled housing gives me confidence they'll handle a little drizzle on the trail.
