The depth of field at f/1.2 is incredible; I’m getting background blur that makes portraits pop. The 11-element optical design really delivers sharp focus where it matters.

I've been using this lens for portrait sessions and the f/1.2 aperture creates dreamy background separation that really makes subjects pop. The only small downside is that the autofocus can hunt a bit in low light, but the image quality more than makes up for it.

The new optical design really pulls out fine detail in eyes even at f/1.2. Autofocus is snappy enough for candid shots, though it hunts a little in low light.
