Tamron DB01 Lens Hood

The bayonet mount clicks on securely and feels much sturdier than the third-party hoods I’ve tried, plus it effectively blocks stray light without vignetting at 28mm.

I was a little skeptical about how much difference a hood would make, but this one really cuts down the glare in bright sunlight. The fit is snug and secure without being too tight, which was my main concern. Definitely glad I picked it up.

Snapped right onto my lens with a satisfying click, and I can already tell it’s going to keep stray light from washing out my shots. The build feels solid enough to take a few accidental bumps in my bag without any harm.
