ソニー ECM-G1 大口径ショットガンマイク

The difference in audio quality from my camera's built-in mic is night and day; voices in my interviews sound so much fuller and clearer. I was surprised how much the big capsule helps pick up speech even in a slightly noisy room. Setup was just plugging it into the shoe mount and camera.

Finally a mic that doesn't make my vlogs sound like I'm recording in a tin can — the speech clarity is honestly night and day from my old setup. Even in a moderately windy park, the pickup pattern kept my voice crisp and background noise down.

Picked this up for outdoor interviews and the audio quality is noticeably cleaner than my old on-camera mic—background wind noise barely registers. It charges quickly via USB-C and the compact size doesn’t throw off my camera’s balance at all.
