Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 Sony Eマウント

Sharp at f/2.8 even wide open, and the autofocus locks fast enough for moving subjects at a wedding. It’s heavier than a prime, but the versatility from 24 to 70mm means I rarely swap lenses now.

Finally pulled the trigger on this lens for my Sony and the autofocus is snappy even in low light. Tack sharp across the frame, makes my event work so much easier.

I was worried about the weight, but it balances perfectly on my Sony body for a full day of shooting. The f/2.8 aperture gives me creamy backgrounds even in dimly lit reception halls.
