I’ve been using this for portrait work, and the f/1.8 aperture gives that dreamy background blur without breaking the bank. It’s also noticeably compact and light compared to my other lenses.

Street shots at dusk used to come out blurry or muddy with my kit zoom, but this thing snaps into focus fast and the classic 25mm framing feels natural for candid work. The silver finish is pretty, too, though it's the bright aperture that makes low-light shooting almost effortless.

The f/1.8 aperture lets in so much light that I'm finally getting sharp shots indoors without flash. It's become my go-to lens for capturing candid moments on the street.
