PM Softbox Octagonal 36"

I was surprised how much bigger the 36" octagonal shape felt compared to my older square softbox, and it really does cut down on harsh shadows. Setup was straightforward, and the light it produces is beautifully even for portraits.

Took me a while to figure out the assembly, but once it was up, the light on my subject’s face was noticeably softer—those harsh shadows just melted away. The 36-inch face gives me plenty of room to feather the light for portraits.

The 36-inch size is perfect for headshots, and the octagonal shape gives a really natural catchlight in the eyes. Setup was straightforward, and the softbox effectively softened shadows without making everything look flat.
