Nikon Monarch M5 10x42 Binoculars

Looked through a full afternoon of birding and the brightness held up even in that last hour of fading light, the colour stays true and the focus ring feels precise. Sold.

I was a little worried they'd be too heavy for all-day hiking, but the balance is perfect and the natural colour fidelity makes birding a joy. The bright view even in twilight really surprised me.

The view through these is incredibly sharp, and the natural colour fidelity makes bird watching feel more vivid than with my old pair. The bright image even in low light surprised me for a standard model.
