Finally a lens that doesn't force me to switch between a wide and a standard zoom for run-and-gun shoots; the 20mm end gives me the room I need in tight spaces. The constant f/4 aperture keeps exposure steady whether I'm indoors or outside, which is a huge time-saver in post.

The power zoom is incredibly smooth for video work, and having that 20mm wide end in an L-series lens makes gimbal shots so much easier to frame without swapping glass. Autofocus is silent and snappy during both photo and video, exactly what I needed for run-and-gun shooting.
