Canon EW83G Lens Hood

Was worried about vignetting with such a wide range, but the petal design handles it perfectly on my 28-300mm. Blocks side light just as intended without darkening the corners.

Fits snugly on the 28-300mm lens and effectively cuts out side light, though the plastic feels a bit lightweight for the price. I've noticed cleaner contrast in sunny shots since using it.

Was a bit nervous about the fit, but it clicks on snugly and hasn't budged since. I've been shooting into harsh afternoon sun and the way it kills the glare on my 28-300mm is a real improvement, no more washed-out frames.
