Canon EW83CII Lens Hood

I was worried about lens flare ruining my outdoor shots, but this hood completely blocks stray light without adding much bulk to my bag. It twists on smoothly and stays put, which makes all the difference when I'm hiking between locations.

The click-lock fit is reassuringly solid, and it does exactly what it's supposed to—shooting into the sun now produces clean, contrasty frames without any of that washed-out haze. It barely adds any weight to the bag, which I appreciate for street shooting.

Installed this on my 70-200 and it clicks on solidly with no wobble. The matte interior does a great job cutting flare in backlit shots without adding much weight to the front.
