NiSI 127mm NC UV Filter

My broadcast camera rig takes a beating on outdoor shoots, and this filter's UV absorption glass has kept colors crisp while shielding the front element perfectly. The 127mm size fits like a glove on the Canon lens, and after three months of dust and rain, there's not a single scratch.

I was pleasantly surprised how sturdy the 127mm frame is, given how thin it appears. It threaded onto my broadcast lens perfectly and the UV absorption is noticeably better than my old filter. My only small gripe is that the glass does smudge a bit easily, but it cleans up fast.

Took this filter out for a shoot today and the UV absorption glass really cut the haze without shifting colors. It’s solidly built but light enough that it didn’t throw off my lens balance. My footage looks crisp from edge to edge.
