Objectif Sony FE 35mm f/1.4 Zeiss

I’ve been using this lens for street portraits and the autofocus is nearly silent and instantly locks on. The sharpness wide open surprised me even in dim evening light. It’s easily become my favorite walk-around prime.

The bokeh at f/1.4 is creamy in a way I’ve only seen with much pricier glass, and the sharpness wide open holds up even at the edges. It’s become my go-to for low-light street shots, and I don’t mind the extra weight for what it gives me.

The autofocus is noticeably snappier than my old kit lens, which makes a real difference for street photography. Even wide open at f/1.4, the sharpness in the center is incredible—those Carl Zeiss optics really deliver. I'm honestly impressed with the color rendering in the first few shots I took.
