Finally got this to replace a cheap knockoff, and the difference is night and day. The matte interior really does cut flare on my 100mm f/2, even shooting into tricky backlight. Locks on snug with zero wobble, which is all I needed.

Adam ★★★★★ Oct 22, 2026

Snapped this onto my 85mm and immediately noticed the difference shooting into golden hour light. The hood is deep enough to block side glare without showing up in the frame at f/1.8, and it clicks on solidly with no wobble. Exactly what I needed for keeping contrast punchy.

Lily ★★★★★ Oct 21, 2026

Finally a hood long enough to actually shade my 135mm f/2.8SF in bright sunlight—no more flare ruining shots. Snaps on tight with a satisfying click, and the matte black finish keeps reflections at bay.
