Tamron SP 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 Di II VC HLD - Canon

I’ve been using this wide-angle zoom for landscape shots and the 10-24mm range gives me so much more flexibility than my kit lens. The VC stabilization is surprisingly steady for handheld shots in low light.

Switching from my old kit lens to this 10-24mm was night and day—the 16-37mm equivalent range lets me finally fit entire landscapes into the frame without backing up. The HLD motor focuses quietly and quickly enough for my hiking shots, and the VC keeps handheld sunsets sharp.

The vibration compensation on this lens is a lifesaver for handheld shots in dim churches and alleys—I got sharp images at 1/15s that would've been blurry messes before. The zoom ring is smooth and the HLD motor locks focus fast on my Canon, even in tricky backlit situations.
