Nikon Travelite VI 12x25 CF Binoculars

Took these on a hike and the rubber armour gave me confidence tossing them in my pack. Really impressed with how clear the view is through the 12x magnification, especially for something so lightweight.

I was surprised how much I could see with these 12x magnification, and the carbon-fibre body makes them feel like nothing in my hands. The rubber armour has already taken a few bumps on rocky trails without any issue.

Took these on a birding trip and the rubber armour really saved them when I fumbled them onto a rocky trail — they bounced without a mark. The carbon-fibre body means I barely noticed them in my jacket pocket all day, and the 12x magnification pulled in details on distant herons surprisingly crisply
