PM Variable ND Standard 72mm Filter

Pulling this out of the bag on a bright sunny day, the smooth twist from ND3 to ND400 lets me dial in exactly the shutter speed I want without swapping glass. For the 72mm size, it’s impressively thin and hasn’t introduced any noticeable color cast in my shots.

Finally having a single filter that covers ND3 to ND400 makes outdoor shooting so much easier. The 72mm size fits my main lens perfectly, and the variable adjustment ring has a smooth, satisfying feel.

I was a bit skeptical about variable ND filters, but the range from ND3 to ND400 is incredibly useful for outdoor video work. Rotating the ring feels smooth and precise, letting me dial in exactly the exposure I need without swapping filters.
