PM Softbox Octagonal 48"

I was a bit skeptical about the octagonal shape making a real difference, but it really does — the catchlights in my portraits are beautifully round and the light wraps around faces so naturally. The 48 inch size covers my subject from head to waist without any harsh hotspots, even close up.

I've been using this softbox for portrait sessions and the light diffusion is incredibly even—no more harsh shadows on my subjects' faces. It sets up in minutes and the silver interior really helps maximize the output from my strobe.

The 48-inch size is perfect for headshots, and it really does reduce harsh shadows as promised. I've noticed a huge difference in how natural the light looks on faces compared to my older, smaller softbox.
