Sony SAL2470Z Lens Hood

It clicks onto the lens with a satisfyingly secure feel, and I've noticed a real reduction in glare shooting into the sun. Fits perfectly and does exactly what it’s supposed to do for protecting the front element.

The matte finish on this hood matches the lens perfectly and cuts glare just as advertised. It's lightweight enough that I don't notice it during an all-day shoot, yet it adds real protection for the front glass. Definitely worth the extra care.

I was worried about flare shooting into the sun, but this hood blocks it almost completely even wide open. It’s also rigid enough that I don’t stress about bumping the front glass when I’m hiking with the camera around my neck.
