Pentax AD 8x25 WP Binoculars

For the size, these binoculars focus surprisingly close, which is great for spotting butterflies and dragonflies on a hike. The body feels solid and the rubber armor gives a confident grip even with damp hands.

I was surprised at how clear the image is through these, even when I'm scanning distant treelines quickly. The compact build really does make it easy to keep them handy on a hike.

Fits right in my jacket pocket and the build feels solid enough to toss in a backpack without worry. Took them to a birding trail yesterday and the compact size made them easy to pull out quick when something moved. Sharp focus across the whole view, exactly what I needed.
