Pelican 1600 Black Case

My camera gear survived a week of monsoon rain thanks to this case—the purge valve really works. Dented the corner in a fall from a truck bed, but the contents were perfectly dry.

Just got this for my field recording gear and the automatic purge valve is a lifesaver when going from air-conditioned rooms to humid outdoors. The foam is easy to pluck for a custom fit.

I needed something bombproof for a cross-country flight with my camera gear, and this case’s pressure-equalizing valve plus the thick foam interior gave me total peace of mind. The latches are reassuringly solid, and everything arrived safe despite some rough baggage handling.
