This lens is so compact I can toss it in my bag without thinking twice, yet the 150mm reach still gives me great portrait backgrounds. The autofocus locks on quickly enough to catch my dog mid-sprint.

The 40-150mm range is perfect for capturing my kids playing soccer without having to stand right on the sidelines. The lens is so compact I just leave it in my everyday bag, ready for any shot. Autofocus is snappy and quiet, too.

I was pleasantly surprised by how light it is — barely noticed it in my bag during a day hike. The 40-150mm range gave me crisp zoom shots of birds without needing a tripod.
