The autofocus is still snappy even with the extra reach, which was my main concern. Mounted on the 40-150mm f/2.8 PRO it feels like a solid, integrated unit. Exactly what I needed for wildlife shots without carrying another lens.

I was worried about losing image quality with a teleconverter, but this one keeps everything sharp even at the long end. It locks onto my 40-150mm PRO lens securely, and the extra reach is perfect for wildlife shots.

The build quality is fantastic—it clicks into place solidly and feels like a seamless part of the lens. Autofocus is still snappy on my 40-150mm, and I’m getting sharp results even wide open.
